Design, supply and installation of an automated logistic center for Scope Metal Trading & Technical Services
Unitronics designed, supplied and installed an automated logistic system for Scope Metal Trading & Technical Services Ltd., a large service center, managing an extensive inventory of over 38,000 tons of 60,000 different metal and plastic products.
Unitronics provided a state-of-the-art integrated automatic warehouse for pallets and boxes. The warehouse contains: fittings, fasteners, flanges, valves, actuators, wires and welding materials, as well as fire extinguishers, ventilation systems and steam systems.
The control and software components of the system are based on Unitronics PLCs and other control software tools developed by Unitronics such as UniStock™ WMS software designed to manage material flow and automated storage in logistic systems, while continuously exchanging information with the organization’s ERP system.
